Why Are Doctors Such Assholes?

I've seen a lot of doctors in my lifetime because I was a sickly little child. I know from vast amounts of experience in one of the "best" medical cities in the world, that most doctors are total fucking pricks. They are so arrogant, and so ignorant at the same time. Western medicine is a fucking travesty, and its practitioners are mostly jerks. It seems like they cling to errant assumptions, inflicting the consequences on the people who come to them for help, only to find out 5 or ten years later that whatever they initially thought, was completely fucking false or faulty.

And how about the time I was rushed to the ER because I was (unbeknownst to me) having an ovarian cyst tear through my fallopian tubes, thus causing extreme pain, and the doctor said he was 99% sure it was an STD based on nothing other than the fact I said I wasn't a virgin??!! (a story I have heard many times!)

Right now, my grandfather is in the hospital, he had a heart attack on Wednesday. There's something wrong with his lungs and they are saying it must be "because of his smoking"... but he only smoked for 1 or 2 years, and quite 65 fucking YEARS AGO! So WHAT. THE. FUCK. ARE. THEY. THINKING!?

That's not fucking scientific! That's an idiotic assumption based on propaganda and ignorance.

And then there's the goddamn food pyramid. How is that working out for everyone, eh? Oh, everyone's fucking fat now? Good job!

And that fake butter crap doctors recommended for so many years... you know... FULL OF FUCKING TRANS-FATS? The shit that will actually kill you a hell of a lot faster than real butter? NICE CALL GUYS!! Real nice.

Oh but they are soooooo fucking sure of themselves and so secure in their so-called knowledge. Meanwhile basic physiology escapes their understanding! We still don't know what CAUSES most diseases, let alone what cures them. They can walk around in their fucking pajamas and white lab coats all day, it doesn't make them Gods, as much as they like to pretend that it does.

Ok, I know, there are SOME decent doctors. But sure as hell, not enough to go around. And if you are reading this, and you ARE a doctor, or on the road to being one, don't fucking send me a nasty email, just BE A GOOD DOCTOR and prove me wrong.
Don't be a fucking know-nothing dip-shit who relies on the bullshit they drill into you in med school, because its all going to change next year, and the year after that, and the year after that and so on and so forth until the bloody sun expands into a red giant and engulfs Mercury, Venus and Earth.

Western medicine is invasive, sloppy, bloody, and sometimes just plain barbaric. All the fancy equipment in the world doesn't change that simple fact. Until doctors get their heads out of their asses and realize that you need to treat the whole person, and not just the disease, (a disease you don't even understand) most doctors will remain dumb, arrogant fucking assholes.

I have to go pack a bag for my mom who is still at the hospital 2 hours away for the 3rd day straight. I wish I could feel confident that my grandfather is in good hands, but I don't. I know better.
